Thankful for Yoga
It’s the time of year, (again) when the holiday season is upon us. The Christmas decorations were out before Halloween this year. It seems that the hustle and bustle of life will continue no matter what I think. As usual this time of year I have to find ways to ground myself and be more present in the moment. Easier said than done when so much planning is going on..... how do I stay grounded in the moment when my “future” has to be put on a very full calendar?
This is the when I have to begin to make time, to steal moments, to enjoy every minute, even the challenging ones. I find that breathing helps. What better way to focus that energy than to practice more yoga. Winter can be dark and dreary and the holidays can evoke some anxiety for some people but a regular yoga practice can keep the winter blues away! Yoga practice can bring focus to the moment and give you a reprieve from the hustle and bustle, every practice is like a mini retreat.
